Business

Palta is a health and well-being venture studio founded by Alexey Gubarev and Yuri Gurski. Designed as a new type of venture firm, Palta focuses on partnering with entrepreneurs to build and scale market-leading products in the European ecosystem. The company has a strong track record of successful exits, including the sale of the neural network platform Matter to Google in 2017 and the virtual try-on technology provider Wannaby to Farfetch in 2022.

Palta's current portfolio features top-tier digital health apps such as Simple, a mindful nutrition tool, and Flo. Flo, the world's leading period-tracking service for women, surpassed a $1 billion valuation in 2024 following a $200 million Series C funding round led by General Atlantic.

Servers.com is a global IaaS hosting platform offering a comprehensive suite of computing, storage, and networking services, with a specialization in single-tenant infrastructure solutions. As shareholder and CEO, Alexey Gubarev drove sales growth by retaining key multinational clients, including Fortune 100 companies, and executing strategic acquisitions. Bishkek Retro Car Museum, Kyrgyzstan — project by Alexey Gubarev, opening 2027

Bishkek Retro Car Museum

Construction Week

Alexey Gubarev is currently developing a retro car museum in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, housed within the former Western Bus Terminal. Constructed in 1981, this iconic building is a significant landmark located just three kilometers from the city’s historical center. The museum, scheduled to open in March 2027, will occupy 3,900 square meters, featuring four exhibition halls and nine thematic zones.

The exhibition will showcase approximately 80 rare and limited-production vehicles from Alexey’s private collection, spanning over a century of automotive history from the early 1900s to modern classics. Beyond the cars, the museum will explore the history of the Soviet automotive industry and the evolution of public transportation in Bishkek. It will also tell the story of the terminal building itself — its architects, construction, and role in the city’s life — enriched by interactive and educational elements.
